The Therapist
Wendie Wood L.M.T., PT
I am a licensed massage who has over 10 years of experience working with infants, children, and young adults with a variety of physical and developmental disabilities including: torticollis, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, near drowning, traumatic brain injury, and a variety of genetic conditions. I have experience working with clients who have G-tubes, TPN feeding, tracheostomy, and ventilators. I have worked with clients in a variety of settings including long term care facilities, and in their homes, I have training in Myofascial Release techniques which can be very beneficial in assisting in decreasing tightness and improving mobility throughout the body. I am offering my services as a massage therapist to work with clients in their home to address: decreasing tightness, improving mobility, improving midline orientation, and improving overall relaxation. I also have a good deal of experience providing relaxation and therapeutic chair massage services, and have been providing such services several days a week for the past 2 1/2 years.
I received my training as a massage therapist at the Cortiva Institute of Florida.
